Mixed Media Postcard

Hello Folks,

FullSizeRender (5)

First post here and for this one, I want to share a mixed media postcard that I recently created for a swap.

I have a few step by step photos of the process and hope this helps.

The background was created using various shades of blue acrylic paints and some gorgeous Lindy’s Stamp Gang magicals. It does not show up very well in the picture, but its gloriously shimmery.

The next step was to add some texture using Prima’s Opaque Modelling paste, Faded roses stencil and some gorgeous glitter.I also stamped the background with a Kaisercraft stamp in Versafine Onyx black ink.

After, that is was just the addition of Tim Holtz Chitchat stickers, some gold star stickers and gold embossed butterflies from the Wplus9 Stamps’ Flora and Fauna 2 set and the project was complete.

Some more close up shots for the gorgeous glittery texture.

Hope you like the project.

See you soon and hopefully I will be better at writing more engaging posts in the future.:-)
